Notice of Construction & Painting

Spring Creek Forest PUD is performing a painting and rehabilitation project at Water Plant No. 1 at 17018 Spring Creek Forest Drive. The projects consists of blasting and painting the large tanks, piping, and a building, entirely within the plant site. The contractor will begin work on February 15, 2010, and is expected to be substantially complete on July 15, 2010. The construction will be accomplished only during dalylight hours to minimize noise and other disruptions.

The contractor plans to begin blasting and painting the exterior of the ground storage tank (the largest tank on the site) in late February, depending on favorable weather conditions. The ground storage tank work will take approximately 45 days. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions to SCF PUD and the neighboring property owners. SCF PUD has required the contractor to agree that they will protect the neighboring property owners and to perform work only on days when weather and wind conditions permit. However, we would encourage our neighbors in the immediate vicinity to take extra precautions to protect your own personal property, such as parking your car in the garage on the days that painting is in progress.
