The Spring Creek Forest PUD (SCFPUD) was established in 1971 to serve the water and sewer needs of the newly created Spring Creek Forest neighborhood. Today, the district serves water, sewage, and garbage needs to the residents of 4 subdivisions along Louetta Rd and numerous business interests. The appraised value of property within the district is over $190 million as of 2017, up from $66 million in 1989.
Members of the SCFPUD Board have always been residents of Spring Creek Forest, but any resident within the district is able to run for one of the 5 elected positions of the Board. Elections are held on even numbered years.
